The Postal Photographic Club (PPC)
Thanks to the Internet, the UK postal system no longer restricts membership of the club to photographers that have access to a Royal Mail post office. As our name implies we originally circulated our art work solely by post but now we combine electronic means as well – in our On-Line circles. We are an ideal club for those unable to travel to a conventional photographic club, and also for those who want another outlet for their creative energy and share their work with others.
PPC members are organised in ‘circles’ of up to a dozen photographers, who circulate their work amongst each other on a monthly basis for comment and critique. This makes for small friendly groupings that allow new members to quickly get to know others in their circle and thereby become an integral part of the club. Our On-Line circles use bespoke software and the postal circles cater for 5” x 7” prints and also for A4 prints – for more information visit:
